"ERA" is a short animated film that explores the feeling of lost love. The film weaves between the present and the past, with flashbacks taking viewers back to nostalgic moments in a romantic relationship. Letting go of the past and accepting reality are central themes of the story.

​

The film utilizes hybrid animation, combining 2D (Zerimo Gerritsen) and 3D (Boris Bouwmeester) animation techniques. Through subtle storytelling and primarily using atmospheric shots, the film aims to evoke a relatable emotional experience for the viewer.

After the festival run is over, the complete 5-minute film and a behind-the-scenes feature will be released.
